Essay should be a minimum of 1925 words (seven pages)your essay should be analytical. Research sources are required for this essay. Develop your ideas, showing the reader how you reached your conclusions. Lead your reader to those conclusions. The essay will be on the life of Ernest Hemingway, his work and the influences his life had on his writing. Please use the following three stories to start you off with “Hills like white Elephants” and “ The sun also rises” and “ The old man and the sea” you may add one more story if you’d like, however please do not go past 4 stories total. In a research essay, YOUR ideas are most important. Then add the supporting ideas you find during your research to add insight and credibility to your work. For this essay use literary criticism, besides having the Hemingways stories or novels to focus on, please use other resources like other written critical essays or journals out there (please remember to cite them correctly). Please concentrate on Hemingways past, his memories and how are they related to his stories.How does he use his past to deepen characters in his novels and stories. Also please add one or two quotations of the author (Hemingway) that reflect his personal outlooks on life and his work.
