carefully structured essay of 5-7 pages, in which you take a position on a controversial issue related to your field of study and/or your
projected career. For example, if you are a Criminal Justice major, you might explore the issue of whether police officers should be required
to wear body cameras, making an argument either for or against this practice. In addition to the required rhetorical features, you will be
required to support your argument with a minimum of six outside sources found through careful and informed library research.
