Choose one of the ethnic groups studied this semester in this course and compose an essay examining the identity struggles people in this group experienced, historically to contemporary times fitting
A) The introductory paragraph should summarize your general argument, theory or issues you will examine in your paper (35 pts)
B) For a paper of this size, there should be at least 16-20 course references used to support your arguments. Any footnotes should be used instead of endnotes.
C). Body of essay should elaborate on the argument or theme outlined in your introduction using quotes or references from the course resources. Be careful to distinguish your opinion or interpretation from those of the author(s) you cite. (80 pts)
D). There should be a summary or concluding section at the end of the essay, reviewing your theme or argument and summarizing potential viewpoints contrary to yours. (35 pts_

The essay should tie events, public policy or social behavior in the history of ethnic Americans with issues or behavior of ethnic groups or the dominant population in the United States to current times. Also don’t forget to identify and address positions or viewpoints counter to your perspective. Draw support evidence for your paper from class discussions, in-class videos, assigned articles and the course text. No outside resources will be recognized towards the minimum of 16 reference support required in this final essay
