The purpose of this proposal/paper is to look at how if it is a past conflict, was resolved, either through peaceful means or other ways. If the conflict is still ongoing, then you are to look at possible means of resolving the conflict (your thesis and hypothesis). Also look at if the conflict is/was violent and if there are any further steps which need to be taken as a way to resolve the violent conflict. If the conflict occurred in the past, do tensions still exist to this day? Look at how the conflict was resolved and decide if the conflict could have been resolved using other means. Did this past conflict set any precedence? Also, either with a past or present conflict, how does this affect the local, state, or international scenes for conflict resolution?
