Evaluate the Effectiveness of Technology to Support Learning

Use the “Guidelines for Using Technology Effectively” (pages 225-231 in the Diamond text) and your own research to develop at least seven criteria for evaluating training or education courses

that rely on technology-based instruction (synchronous or asynchronous). An example of a criterion could be as follows: “Instructor feedback on assignments is timely and informative.”

Select three courses you have taken to evaluate against your criteria.

Develop a table (maybe either a Word or Excel document). List the seven criteria down the left hand column and the three courses across the top. Rate each course on each of your criteria on a

scale of 1 to 5 and provide a brief rationale for your rating. Record your ratings and rationale in the appropriate box on the table.
