Event Conceptualization

The aim of this section is for you to develop your creativity and
brainstorm a ‘new’ event that would fill a gap/niche/opportunity
you have identified in Part A and/or B.

The event creation process
Briefly define the purpose of the event
Vision, goals, objectives
Identify the event audience
Nominate key stakeholders
Determine the timing of the event
Explain why you have chosen this date/time – does it suit stakeholders, availability of venue, weather at the destination, etc
Select the event venue
Consider event needs/comfort/accessibility/cost etc
Develop/create the event concept
What is the event ‘product’ / ‘content’?
