Students will prepare an Executive Summary Essay on the following two questions:1. In the locale in which you live, which ICT or Social Media Technology venue do you utilize to keep informed on government happenings?2. Have you tried other ICT venues and if not, why?Students will refer to the Executive Summary Guide that will provide the instructions for developing the Executive Summary Essay. The Executive Summary shall be in an essay format with a minimum of 200 words and not to exceed 300 words. The Executive Summary shall be uploaded to the Assignment Section (dropbox).
1Executive Summary GuideThere will be six (6) Executive Summary Essay assignments submittedduring the duration of the course. They are called summaries as theyare limited in the total number of words utilized in developing theinformation for each assignment. That is, you have to choose yourwords succinctly to develop your responses with supportinginformation from the chapters.Using the concepts, theories and definitions from the chaptersand the power point lectures, you are to support yourobservations, analysis and recommendations within yourExecutive Summary, with the following guidance given:Please, do not write from a “first or second person” perspective. Thismeans do not use “I” or “we’. Use a “third” person point of view. Youdo not need to footnote or other wise reference the chapters. Thefocus (and space for your responses) should be directed at answeringthe assignment given for each chapter.One example of this position would be: Picture yourself in the movietheatre and as you are watching the movie, you are describing thevarious scenes to another person. In essence, you are telling a storyin your executive summary essay in providing your recommendations.When complete, submit your Executive Summary Essay to theAssignment Area (dropbox).
