Exploring basic musical terms and concepts in American music.

Create a Music Webliography (a cyber space version of an annotated bibliography) of 8 website links found on the Internet, corresponding to a topic chosen from Chapters 1-12 in our text. For example, you might choose to explore Early American Folk Music, Shape-Note Notation or the composer Amy Beach. Please see the Online Learning Center for our textbook under the “External Links” button for more ideas. There are Web Resources listed for each chapter in the textbook.

To create your webliography:
List each link, immediately followed by a brief paragraph (2-3 sentences) describing each website in your own words.
At the end, write a 2-3 paragraph explanation of how each link relates to other sites in your chosen group, also discussing the reasons you are interested in the topic you chose.
