Module 5 – Case
EXPONENTS AND POLYNOMIALS
Case Assignment
To complete your Case Assignment, you will be utilizing resources and simulations from NROC (the National Repository of Online Courses).
Before working on the Module 5 Case, be sure you have read the Home page for notes on the topic. The Background page provides additional reading and practice for the module. Once you have completed these activities, proceed to the Module 5 Case and Pre-Assessment link (as illustrated below) within the module list:

The link will lead you to the Unit Home page, which includes the Pre-Assessment, My Learning Path, and Unit Map. Use the Learning Path and Unit Map to track your progress within each module.

Take the Pre-Assessment to determine your Learning Path for the module. Scroll down to the bottom of your page to submit your answers. Answer the questions to the best of your ability.

Once the assessment is complete, proceed to your individualized learning path. Here you will see which topics you have Not Started, Not Completed, Mastered, and Passed. Use the scroll bars to navigate the page. Click on a skill to get started.

Each skill will contain five activities: Warm Up, Presentation, Worked Examples, Practice, and Review. Your Review score for each skill will be recorded and saved, so do your best on this section. You can continue to review the materials and improve your score prior to the final submission. Mastery is required to complete each skill. Navigate back to My Learning Path by clicking on the link at the top of the window.
