Feminist Ethics Of Care

Paper instructions:
Essay Wk7 (Week Seven): All are required to submit a 3 to 5 page double-spaced essay in standard college format on either natural law ethics (the focus of week 6 assignments) or feminist ethics of care (focus of week 7 assignments). This essay will be submitted through Safe-Assign, graded, and returned for any needed revisions before it becomes part of the final paper in week 10.

The requirements are as follows: (a) one paragraph introducing the topic; (b) two to three paragraphs explaining in your own words what either natural laws ethics or a feminist ethics of care is and what distinguishes these from each other and from utilitarianism (one quotation is required in this part of the essay on your topic with proper reference and a 40 word limit on the quote); (c) two to three paragraphs explaining moral duty in your selected theory and how we know this duty (one quotation is also required in this part of the essay on your topic with proper reference and a 40 word limit on the quote); (d) select some person featured in the news during the months of January or February 2014 who did something exemplifying or contradicting the moral theory you’re addressing; explain the story and how it relates to your selected theory (one quotation is also required in this part of the essay with proper reference and a 40 word limit on the quote); and (e) provide a concluding paragraph on your topic and its place in today’s world. The essay must also have the works cited page at the end of the paper.
