Project description
General instructions:

a. a) Copy each complete question onto your paper(including all component parts) and then insert your answers. Do not include this insertion as part of your calculation of paper length.

b. b) Answer each question part in order, labeling each so it is clear what you are attempting to answer.

c. c) Give proper credit to the facts and ideas of others. Use page-specific, in-text citations and a reference list.

d. d) Include at least one external source selected from among those listed in the slide set guides.

e. e) The majority of your content should come from your text and slide set.

f. f) This week’s challenging questions are designed to be addressed in a total of about three full pages. The length of the policy brief is less important than the content of your answers but papers seriously short of three pages will not receive full credit.

g. g) As always, the goal is to use the analytic tool set to explain what happened and why.

h. h) Include documented examples that name the political players and describe strategies in detail.

Include in your analysis a) a description of the switch; b) why he did it (motive); c) what his messages reveal about those motives; d) how his switch relates to his hermeneutics.

Q#2. Giving detailed policy examples, analyze the following comment often repeated by chroniclers of the Reagan presidency: Reagan continues to be an icon for the convenience of the modern conservative movement.

For this answer, be sure to a) identify the key features of Reagan’s policies that remain popular among many political factions today; but, b) interpret them within the realities we have learned about his presidency.
