•    Describe real-world examples that help support your discussion.
2. Clearly discuss the impacts/effects, if any, on national security due to government regulation required to be implemented by private industry.

•    Clearly discuss whether private industry now has a responsibility to protect national security through implementing good cybersecurity controls imposed by government regulation.
•    Describe real-world examples that help support your discussion.
Hint: First prepare an outline based on the questions asked in this assignment.  The outline is not submitted as part of the final report, but it should be used to help structure your TOC.  Also, the introduction should provide a brief preview for the reader, indicating what areas your research explored.  Do this for all your research papers, both the individual and the team projects.

Length 5-7 pages, due at the end of Week 2.
Prepare your paper in Word format. It should be double-spaced with one-inch margins all around. The citations and the reference list in the paper should be formatted in accordance with APA 6th edition guidelines.
The paper must include: cover page, table of contents, introduction, section headings and subheadings, conclusions, APA compliant in-text citations and list of references, and page numbers. The page count starts with the introduction and ends with the conclusions. The questions asked in the assignment should first be outlined (the outline is not included in the document), then the outline should be used to create the Table of Contents and the document sub-headings.  The Introduction should briefly preview each sub-heading in the document.
1.    The paper has 1” margins all-around (top, bottom, left, and right margins) using US letter paper size.
2.    Paper is of the expected length (page and word count).  References do not count for page length or word count.
3.    The paper has a title, author, course, and section on the first page.  The title is centered, three inches from top of the page.  The title must be centered in all caps.  The title must identify the assignment number and the student’s title for their work for the assignment (for example, IA1 – WHY I WRITE).  The author’s name must centered on the line below the title.  The course and section identifiers must be on the second line below the title, centered.
4.    Text must be in Times or Times New Roman font, 12pt, 1.5 line or double spacing.
5.    The paper must be divided and organized by sections.  Each section has a numbered, left aligned, bold, 14pt section header.  The Introduction section is section number 1.
6.    Every paper must have a Summary and Conclusion section as the last section in the paper.
7.    Paragraphs must have 6pt spacing between paragraphs (which can be set using the Format-Paragraph menu in Word) and must have a .5” indent.  Paragraphs must be 1.5 line or double spaced.
8.    Lines and paragraphs must not be numbered.
9.    Pages must be numbered at the bottom, with the page number centered on the page.
10.    APA style guide is used only for citations and references.
11.    Sentences should not be longer than 25 words.  Exceed that length at your own risk.
12.    The paper must have at least eight professional/scholarly quality references (professional journal or refereed academic conference) or more if required by a particular IA’s rubric.  The references must be cited in the paper.
