Job Analysis Assignment

Select an HR job that you will use to complete this assignment. This can be your present job, one that you have held in the past, or one that you would like to explore in more detail.
Once you have selected an HR job:
(1) Conduct a job analysis using one of the techniques described in the text (such as direct observation, interviews, etc.). Document your key findings.
(2) Using the findings from your job analysis, write a thorough job description for the job. At a minimum, the job description should include the job title, job summary, job duties, and worker specifications for the position.
(3) Based on your completed job analysis and job description, describe the most important compensable factors for the job. Be specific. These factors should include skill, effort, responsibility, and working conditions.
(4) Finally, describe the job evaluation method you would recommend for evaluating this job’s worth relative to other jobs in the organization. Be sure to include adequate justification for your recommendation.
