into what motivates our audience. so they are nrore likely to read our work and buy into
our arguments.
How to. lind motivation points?
Consider your intended audience- start with demographics and psychographics.
Consider what each description tells you. Look at relationships between descriptions to
gain insights. For example, what would likely motivate 40-year-old lemale art teachers
that make $6oK per year? Creativity? Probably. Wealth? Probably not.
