Imitation Portfolio Revision

You need to revise and expand the story that I wrote using the techniques I gained from diaz .So, the total words of my revision story should be at least 1200 words. You can use along side Diaz’s slang technique(make sure you read those two articles from Diaz, know what is his writing techniques and style, then revise and expand my story). My draft stroy is an imitation story from Diaz and I will upload 2 of Diaz articles as reference. (Plus 2 specific revision questions for your peers regarding this revision (ask about specific problems/challenges you’re facing as you draft and put them at the top of your draft (about 175 words))
The techniques you use and why you use them are up to you, and you should feel free to radically change your draft to meet your rhetorical goals (in other words, you don’t have to strictly imitate Diaz—or whomever—anymore). Once again, I encourage you to stretch outside your comfort zone and use a diverse set of techniques to fully realize your rhetorical goals/vision for your revision of your story.
You will also produce a reflective, analytical, argumentative essay that describes, defends, and supports the choices you made in your revision using evidence from your work, and then reflects on the process of imitation and close rhetorical reading in the first six weeks. As before, you’ll want to pay close attention to the author’s choices as you read, as those insights will not only help you revise and expand your story, but will also be key to your argument and reflection in the essay portion of this assignment.
• And a reflection that answers the following questions (min. 500 words):
• What are your rhetorical goals in this story? What are you trying to communicate/how are trying to effect the reader’s heart and brain?
• What techniques did you focus on using in revision? Which authors? Why were these techniques significant in your revision? And how did it go trying to incorporate them? Point to your own work and the work of the authors (if necessary) for support.
• Are there any techniques you haven’t used yet that you’d like to try? What are they and what’s your plan?
• How would you describe the style that your hoping to achieve? Why is this style significant for achieving your rhetorical goals?
