Interview a Parent of a Child with a Disability

For this assignment, please interview a parent of a child with a disability (e.g., CLD) or a family member who has a sibling or relative with a disability. Sit down with this individual or individuals. Ask them questions to get a better understanding of the disability that confronts their child or family member. Ask how they interact with an individual with a disability and what they do to better instruct, communicate, or modify their behavior in order to enhance his or her development. Expand your questions to understand how this impacts the other children in the family. (It is ok to interview someone in your own family, if it is appropriate).
