Investigating Eating Disorders

 
For this assignment, you will write a plan for including eating disorders into an athletic service model for a college (or high school, community, or professional) athletic department:
1.Picture yourself as a student athlete counselor or program director charged with developing an athletic service model for your department.
2.What kinds of information should be present in a student athlete service model regarding eating disorders for those student-athletes that might have or be at risk for eating disorders?
3.What characteristics or symptoms may be present in a student with an eating disorder?
4.How would you help build assistance options for students into the framework of the model that you have developed?
5.Make sure in your discussion that you have retrieved and referenced information from at least five resources from the bibliography at the end of the respective chapters concerning eating disorders in your textbook.

Length: 5-7 pages not including title and reference pages.
References: Minimum of 3-5 scholarly resources.

Your paper should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts that are presented in the course and provide new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic. Your paper should reflect scholarly writing and current APA standards. Review APA Form and Style.
