The malden court

Project description
term paper: 1. The field module is designed to give you firsthand knowledge of the application of law 2. Students must take an equivalent of one half day visit to one of the institutions listed below, and submist 3-5 page report on your observations and your opinion of these observations, hightlighting the strengths and weaknesses of this legal system
E. District Court- any district court in your neighborhood

My point: the district court of Malden is free to come in. People can listen and study the law in the court. This is very well. I am a Chinese student. In my country, people can not come into the court if they do not did crime. I mean if a person come into the court, others will think he is criminal. Therefore, none will go to court when he is free. Therefore, a big part of Chinese do not know the laws, even my parents also do not know the whole of the law. Therefore, I think this is very good system to the people. However, the judge does not exactly say what’s going on, just give an file to almost defendants and let them leave. Also, to individual defendant who is more serious to others, the judge just announced the crimes and punishment. Cause the voice of judge is light, and she speak very fast. So, I try to find the case on the website. Then, I find the official website of Malden Court did not update any more. I just feel how can they do that? It’s net and information epoch! The website of country should update all the time. It’s really bad!

The advantage: The transparent judicial court

The weakness: The judge dictatorship. I mean that I see the judge just make a decision by herself.
