In 2012, a top engineer from Google, Marissa Mayer, took over as the CEO of faltering internet giant, Yahoo. Since then, she has moved rapidly to change the organization’s structure, strategy, and culture. Below are two links: The first is to a a New York Times article that discusses Ms. Mayer’s move to end the popular practice of work-from-home at Yahoo. The second is a Business Week article that provides a more in-depth consideration of what Ms. Mayer is doing and what she is up against.
