(40 marks) Your task for assignment #1 is to write a short annotated bibliography on an environmental science topic of interest to you. Follow the instructions given to you in tutorial, keeping in mind the following:
? You must have an appropriately thought-out title that shows direct relation to your cited sources.
? Your topic must be science (specifically environmental science) – focused.
? Your must include 5 cited sources and all of your cited sources MUST be peer-reviewed journal articles.
? Your cited sources must stand on their own as apparently being related to one another through the theme of your title.
? Your citations must be in exactly the correct format.
? Your short summaries of each article may not exceed 10 lines single-spaced.
? You must not simply copy ideas or large parts of sentences from the article or the article?s abstract. This will be considered plagiarism and is easily caught.
? Take advantage of spelling and grammar checking within your word processing software. Writing will be marked.
? You must hand in two copies of the finished assignment: i) you will hand in a hard copy via the appropriate dropbox; and ii) you will hand in a version electronically via Blackboard. Instructions will be given in the tutorial.
