Paper instructions:

2.    The paper should be 5 full pages in length to be eligible for full credit using 12 point font and double spacing.  Your first and last name should be at the top right hand corner of each page (go to view then header and footer to do this) with 1 inch margins on all sides.
3.    BIO 225 should be on the top left side of each page (again go to view then header and footer to do this)
4.    The title should centered on the top line of the paper (no spacing before typing), underlined and in 12 point font.
5.    The body of the paper should begin 3 space (i.e. hit enter key 3 time when on single spacing) after the title with each paragraph being indented.  The paper should be written in Times New Roman font.
6.    Page numbers should be found at the bottom of each page (including the first page) and centered.
7.    You should have at least 5 peer-reviewed articles for your reference page.  Reference page should follow the last page and contain a sequential page number that corresponds to the body of the paper.  You may use internet resources and reference them but they do not count towards your 5 peer-reviewed articles.  Peer-reviewed references (i.e. journal articles you have found) should support your topic and follow the format below:
EXAMPLE:
Hackney, C, White, W, Schwartz, GJ, Moran, TH. 2005. Effects of Amphetamine on     Dopaminergic Gene Transcription in Various Brain Tissue: Journal of     Neuroscience 25: 9604-9620.
