Paper instructions:
Develop a paper of substance in which you address a community health or general population behavior issue. You will
examine the influences of behavioral science, social science, and public health in the 21st century regarding the topic of
your choice. You will use the Outline that you completed as a guide to help complete this assignment.
Expound on each section of your outline and support your work with the required number of references. Include a brief
summary, or annotation, of how the added articles support the corresponding topic in your outline. Be sure to give specific
examples of how the citation supports the appropriate sections of the outline. Completing this will serve as a schematic to
help you write your research paper which is due 12/5/13.
In addition to the information you provided in the Outline, you will expand your discussion of your topic with the
following topics:
1. Identify the major influences of the health behavior
2. Relate the behavior to a Health Behavior theory, identify the theory(ies)
3. Design a plan/program to influence/change the behavior
4. Identify obstacles, barriers, potential problems
5. Identify the potential positive impact (short term and long term) the proposed change will have on the individual or
