Project description
A marketing plan helps to form the basis of a marketing strategy. For this module, your goal is to determine a template you will use for your marketing plan. You should be able to find some existing plans through Internet research. To get started, click on the links to review a Formal Marketing Plan and an Informal Marketing Plan.

Next, search the Internet for a template you will use for your marketing plan. There are a myriad of free templates you can choose. You do need to be able to locate one on your own and determine which one is best for you and your final project.

Be sure the template for your marketing plan includes the following sections:
Marketing environment
Marketing mix
Marketing management
The 4 Ps of marketing
Marketing segmentation
Product life cycle
SWOT
Audience
Purpose
Product or service
Price of product or service
Competitor analysis
Marketing objectives
Advertising approach and budget
