This assignment is building on your Secondary Research assignment. Remember, your client is Target.

Understanding the types of data collection is very important to research as the essence of research is the collection of information in order to help managers make better decisions.

In this exercise, I want you to collect observational data at a Target store over at least a 30-minute period, so you will just be observing behavior.

You want to know what the customer experience at the checkout looks like during the busiest times. You will go to one of your client’s stores at a busy period to observe behavior at the cashier too assess the checkout service at high traffic times.

Busy times tend to be during the week before work (the half hour before work around 7:30-8:30 am; lunch hour; around 6pm; and I’d suspect most of Saturday would be busy)Explanation – this section is to be done individually
In 300-500 words explain how well you thought your form worked and what if anything you would change about the questions. And of course, an explanation of why you would have made changes.
A 250-350 word explanation of why you selected those specific questions as a follow up
Grading rubric—Assignment submission:
Quality and thoroughness of questions in the forms 15 pts
Quality and thoroughness of the 5 follow-ups 15 pts
Demonstrated strategy thinking in explanation to #B1 above 10 pts
Demonstrated strategic thinking in explanation to #B2 20 pts
