• Identify affordable metal technologies;
• Develop planned roadmap for hastened development and insertion of the technologies;
• Are there additional requirements in the jet production department that could have caused the cost of raw materials to increase?
• Has the corporation received significant contracts that have led to increase in raw materials?
• Have there been changes in the production department that could have led to an increase in the production cost?
• Is the increase in production cost a result of production overrun? (Fryling, 2010).
