The purpose of this assignment is to expose you to the wide world of occupational therapy and its many practice areas. The goal is to promote an understanding of the breadth of our practice while you develop effective written communication skills.

Write a Three Page Essay (Body Only) that includes the following:
1. Explain your topic or area of practice.
2. Discuss the role (future or current) of OT in this area? (What do we DO? Why are we involved? Why are OT’s interested in this area?)
3. Explain what OT interventions/strategies/techniques are being used or discussed.
4. What is the outcome? Has this impacted people’s health/well-being and function? If so, how?
5. Discuss how other professionals might work collaboratively with OT in this area. (Provide specific examples)
Your essay should be typed, double spaced on standard sized paper (8.5″ x 11″) with 1″ margins on all sides. Your essay should include three sections: Title Page, Main Body, and References.

The main body of your paper should be 3 page in length.
Your reference page is last and citations must be typed using APA format.
