Online class

A discussion of which types of conflict discussed in Chapter 11 was experienced and how it was managed by the group.

After your project, you will need to work together to analyze the communication that took place while working together.

This was Online class and it was very hard for us to contact each other because only few of us response on right time. However, we used Canvas and Google doc to communicate and even it is an online class, we had group meeting outside of class, and only 3 of us came, but it still worked. Also, Kevin’s leadership was very helpful to engaged all together and most of group members participated well.

Types of Conflict:
Task Conflict: is conflict over ideas, meaning, issues, and other matters pertinent to the task of group.
Relationship conflict: conflict that originates from interpersonal power clashes, likes and dislikes unrelated to the group’s task.
Process Conflict: third type of group conflict that involves both task and relationship dimensions.
Conflict over Inequity: the second process dimension involves coordination, a more relationally oreiented dimension that emerges out of issues of distributing member responsibilities and workloads.
