Oral Report And Written Summary

Oral Report And Written Summary
Pleas kindly read through these documents in order so you’ll know what is to be expected. Have a look at Assessment 1- Oral Report and Written Summary then the Oral Report rubric and finally, the APA Style Guide.
For Part One, you need to choose a topic from the list, then find and read the ‘starter references’ given. These references will give you a good idea of your topic area. You then need to search for three additional?journal articles on your topic. It is these three articles that you need to summarise, AND NOT THE ‘STARTER REFERENCES’.?In terms of formatting, I suggest you to follow what the sample – Example Article Summaries – has done so that you’ll be able to ensure you don’t go over the word limit as it is extremely important. You could just copy and paste the matrix into a word document and to have the stuff to be filled in as accordingly. A submission that is 1,100 words, but perfect in every other respect, will not receive full marks. Sticking to the word limit will likely prove a challenge.
For Part Two you will need to make a YouTube video. A link on how to go about this has been provided. The guide for the length of the video is listed as 10 minutes. However, do not fill obligated to fill all that time – a lot can be said in six or seven minutes.?The video will be on ONE of the articles that?you summarised in Part One. In terms of style, there is no need to produce slides – ignore that part of the marking rubric. The expectation is that you will video yourself talking about one of your?summarised articles. In the first part of the oral component, where you’ll present your article, you need only introduce the article at the start and saying why you chose it (reflects exactly on why this paper is the most relevant to your chosen topic). Then you need to present orally what you presented in written form for your chosen article in Part One (Written Summary). The second, and more important?part will be?your critique of the same single article. Please refer to the marking rubric (ignoring the reference to slides) to see what content etc is required for the clip.
