One page high-level overview of the diagnostic process including overall organizational effectiveness and recommendations for improvement. Include an overall ratings of effectiveness and your findings.
Organization Overview
One page overview of background information about the chosen organization including size, industry, products/services, etc. Include any assumptions you have had to make about the organization in order to complete the diagnosis
Diagnosis of Effectiveness
One paragraph explaining the diagnostic process
Discussion of the areas below including diagnosis of effectiveness and recommendations for improvement. Be sure to support your diagnosis and recommendations with credible sources + examples.
Leadership
What are the characteristics of effective leadership in the organization? What impact does leadership have on the organization?s human resources including mission, vision, values, alignment and employee motivation? What improvements are needed?
Analysis of a work process, problem, or initiative using systems thinking.
What is the process, problem, or initiative? How was systems thinking used to make recommendations for improvement?
Teams
How do you develop an effective team? How do you handle conflict among team members? How do you measure the effectiveness of the team?
Performance and development system
What elements of a performance management system does the organization have? What training and development opportunities exist? Does the organization?s performance and development strategy contribute to or detract from the organization?s effectiveness? How can the organization?s performance and development strategy be improved?
Operations: supply chain, capacity management, quality control/improvement. Does the organization adhere to the principles and concepts of operations? What could the organization change to maximize productivity?
Summary and Conclusion
One-page summary of findings and concluding thoughts.
