How does Jacobs distinguish between credentialing and education? How is her discussion related to the conceptions of authenticity defended by either (a) Taylor, (b) Potter or (c) both Taylor and Potter. [In other words, it is up to you to decide whether to relate her discussion to the views of Taylor or Potter alone or, if you prefer, the different views of both.] Why does she think that we lose something when education is replaced by credentialing? Do you agree with her about this? (To some degree? Completely? Not at all?) Why, or why not?
