identifies two main participants being Iraq and the United States. The main line of argument is that the war was a disaster for Iraq but helped to establish US supremacy. These points are legitimate but the essay is too much focused on these two actors only. The UN dimension is completely overlooked. The other main allies (UK, France, Gulf Arabs) in the coalition are also completely overlooked. More importantly, the essay does not show the importance of this war for the international system and for the UN as well as for US grand strategy. The essay should improve the scope of the participants as well as develop more what were the consequences for the international system and for the United States.

· Provide a justification of why you chose the principal participants your did?
· Provide a justification with facts that US goals was to remove Saddam from power and also why it did not at the end.
· Provide an analysis about the consequences of this war for US foreign policy
In general, a good basis but be careful in justifying the participants you chose.
