For this course you will have to complete a poster presentation, video or a slide show
presentation (PPT) about software and or hardware programs used in healthcare. This is a formal
presentation that requires correct grammar, punctuation, and APA format.
Use the following questions below as a template and answer all questions. This presentation is
worth 100 points. Points are for thorough content in the presentation and correct use of APA
format for THREE references .One reference could come from a refereed journal article, one
from a textbook, and one from an Internet source, etc.
General PPT Assignment Requirements:
Perform an internet search on software and or hardware programs used to protect data integrity
within healthcare systems. Describe the nature of the software and or hardware programs. State if
you have positive or negative feelings about this (software and or hardware program)
technology. Discuss the benefits and risks that are associated with the software and or hardware
program. Discuss how the software and or hardware program affects society.
For your presentation, you should have a minimum of 10 slides (Excluding Title and Reference
Slides) and a maximum of 20 slides (Excluding Title and Reference Slides). *Note: title slide
and reference slide are required but they are not including in the slide count*.
Your presentation should address the following questions below. In addition, you can include
charts, and graphs. I strongly suggest that you be very creative and have fun with this
assignment.
