Produce a PowerPoint presentation about your two businesses (Sainsbury’s and UNICEF). The PowerPoint must include the following slide titles:
• The effects of changes to the trade cycle (e.g. boom and recession) on business 1.
• The effects of changes to trade cycles (e.g. boom and recession) on business 2.
• The impact of the wider economy in a boom cycle (e.g. inflation, unemployment, changes in Government and levels of taxation, provision of grants and loans, interest rate changes).
• Impact of the wider economy in a bust cycle (e.g. inflation, unemployment, changes in Government and levels of taxation, provision of grants and loans, interest rate changes).
• Explain how demand and supply will affect both businesses.

• Political factors impacting upon the businesses (e.g. change of government, government initiative and supports of this type of business).
• Legal factors impacting upon both businesses (e.g. consumer – Trade Description, Sale for Goods Act. Employee protection e.g. Health and Safety at Work Act, EU Legislation and Minimum Wage Act).
• Social factors impacting upon the businesses (e.g. demographic issues e.g. size of population and age. Standard of living/quality of life/income and religion).
