Persuasive Speech.
You will be trying to persuade your audience of something. Pick a topic that is meaningful to you. This will give you great practice in research and evidence support, rather than just expression of personal opinion. You’ll need to take a side on an issue and create a compelling argument to try and persuade your audience of your stance. Visual aid required(PowerPoint OK). Topic approval required. This is 5 minute speech.
