Order Description
Theoretical approach. Task is to critically compare and contrast the capacity building model with the approaches to
organisational transformation and explore the OT concepts embedded in the C-B process. This option also requires
reflection on the meaning of capacity building its implications for leadership and for the work of practioners
Criteria for assessment
1.Critically compare and contrast the COSMIC capacity building model to other OT approaches 2. Critical appraisal
of organisational transformation concepts within the CB Capacity Building Model in reference to the OT concepts
3. Explain your understanding of the concept of capacity, how it is built, its implications for leadership and the
work of teachers (or other Practitioners)
