My subject is the use oxytocin to induce or augment labor. I will educating nurses as part of a staff development.
The three learning objectives are:
1. The nurses will identify the proper protocol to titrate the oxytocin
2. The nurses will verbalize the correct charting protocols according to AWHONN and ACOG
3. The nurses will identify unfavorable Fetal heart monitoring strips and how steps to rectify a decrease in the fetal heart rate or syperstimulation (to many contractions in a short period of time)
