Project IV: My Dream Company
This final project represents a culmination of what you’ve learned in the class. Your project will be about an ecommerce company that you admire. It does nothavetobea publicly traded business.
Your final project will be a paper about your dream ecommerce company. The paper should be a minimum of 5 pages + Cover Page in length, typed, and double spaced. The first page of the paper should be a cover page as per APA format guidelines, which states the title of your project, your name, and the time and day that the class meets. After the cover page you should have your entire paper. You may insert pictures, clip art, graphics, or charts into your paper, but only if they further illustrate what you’re writing about.
Here are the sections you will need to cover in your paper, in the following order:

1. What is the name and mission statement of thecompany?
2. What is the history of the company up through the present day? (Summarize major events and tell how those major events affected the company. A timeline may be a great way to show majorevents).
3. Write about at least 1 example that shows what you consider to be a good ethical decision this company has made in the past or is in the process of making/considering today. Make sure to tell why they made this decision (What prompted them to make it? What do they hope to achieve by making it? Etc.). Also, make sure to tell why you consider this a good ethicaldecision.
4. Write about at least 1 example that shows what you consider to be a poor ethical decision this company made in the past or is in the process of making/considering today. Make sure to tell why they made this decision (What prompted them to make it? What do they hope to achieve by making it? Etc.). Also, make sure to tell why you consider this a poor ethicaldecision.
5. Write about their marketing and distribution strategies. Please provide examples to support yourstatements.
6. Write about their operations. Again, provide examples to support yourstatements.
7. Write about the good and/or bad effects that the current recession hashad on the company. Provideexamples.
8. Include at least one of the following financial statements: Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash flow Statement (or budget). Make sure these statements are no older than 5 years.
9. Write a summary conclusion section for your paper to wrap it up at theend.
10. Provide a bibliography in APA format listing all the references you used (websites included) in this paper.
11. Conclusions. Summarize the most important points you want the reader to remember. Make your point across in this section.

APA Word Document with Company/Synopsis

In week 6 you should have done your initial research and selected the company you want to do your paper on. Prepare an APA Formatted Word document with the name of the company, a synopsis of what the company does and the reasons why you selected this company. The paper should not take more than 2 content pages plus the APA formatted page. This assignment will not be graded but failure to post the assignment will cost you 20 points from the final project paper to be completed by week 10.
Week 11 Deliverables:
Final APA Word Formatted Document and PowerPoint Presentation.

1. Complete your company research and put together an APF formatted word document with the results of your research covering all the 11 topic sections outline above. The final paper should be a Microsoft Word APA formatted document with a minimum of 10 pages + Cover Page in length, typed, and double spaced.

2. Develop a Power Point Presentation from the paper. The PowerPoint presentation should have at least 5 slides, with notes included in each slide (notes section of a PowerPoint slide). You can use pictures and charts but make sure you also include the source of your pictures and charts.

Extra Credit 20 Points:

You can develop a YouTube video with you going over your PowerPoint presentation. Consider the video presentation as a way to reach your audience as a business professional would do. Be convincing, be spontaneous, and drive your points across.
Working as a Team:
Two or more students can work as a team making all the important decisions and working together during the time the store was up and running.
