3000 word scholarly research and argumentative essay on an important mechanism of mindfulness and/or meditation. You will critically review the theoretical arguments
and empirical data of established researcher and then you will integrate this review into an integrative argument as to what is the most plausible interpretive
conclusion about the phenomenon that can be drawn. You will discuss a cognitive mechanism at work in mindfulness such as attention, awareness, self-regulation etc. You
will not discuss therapeutic or existential benefits of mindfulness practice. You may also discuss how the cognitive mechanism develops in mindfulness practices. You
must use a minimum of 15 independent (from the reading list which you can still use as sources) peer review academic journal articles. APA format is mandatory.
