affect or even disable the entire tourism industries in the affected countries. This study is important at this time because it will

provide crucial information on how governments and the tourism sectors in these affected countries can address the rise in insecurity and

maintaining a profitable industry.

REMINDER: Scope of the study
The research seeks to provide crucial information on how insecurity issues can be addressed while maintaining a profitable tourism

industry. The main area of focus in the study is Nigeria. More specifically, the study evaluates the tourism industry in Nigeria.

NOTE:
There will not be a case study of any particular location as compared to in the assignment. For the Thesis, it’s going to be something

open and general that could be applicable in Nigeria.

Since my participants will be student here in the UK, very certain most of them will or don’t know our case study locations, hence it’s

not necessary to have case study locations, instead it’s going to be Nigeria as a whole.

QUESTIONNAIRE:
The researcher will will use both the close-ended & open ended questionnaire. The close-ended approach of questionnaire is to yield

standard and more specific responses that is easy to analyze and draw themes and trends, while the open-ended approach questionnaire can

yield a variation of responses but with more interesting in depth data (Vogt, 2010).
