Rainwater harvesting systems

Rainwater harvesting systems

its a very poor village in Nepal that need Rainwater harvesting systems
using it for cooking , its rain a lot in Nepal so we need to use this in order to build something that cheap and easy to maintain.
the requirement of this report are
Trade-off Analysis
o Separate analysis of each part of problem to find best option for that part o Discuss criteria chosen and weightings given
o Trade-off Excel sheets
if more than one sheet then better in an Appendix
but must be referred to in main text
o Explicitly state best option for each part, with justification
o Maybe the best options may not work well together so may have to come up with
optimal combination
discuss the reasoning for this.
o Note: Preference to be given to renewable and locally available resources
Relating chosen concept design to requirements
o Discuss/show how chosen concept design meets requirements that were defined
earlier in report
Draft detailed design
o This is still draft, so you are not expected to have all the details worked out, but it
should still be a viable (and comprehensible) design. Put in as much as you can, so you
can get feedback.
o Content depends on problem being addressed
o Schematic diagram showing various components and an explanation of how it all
works
o Detailed plans (as far as possible)
dimensions, models of equipment chosen, etc
o Should have explanation/justification of choices
o Economic, social/cultural, and environmental factors to be considered (sustainability) o Safety features incorporated
