Project instructions:
This assignment will provide the student with the opportunity to reflect on the experience gained whilst attaining the competencies that underpin emergency care practice. The review should allow the student to construct a unique insight to the ?journey? that they have undertaken to gain experience.
The journey, or time line may have provided examples of problems with attainment of specific competencies, which can be used as examples in which to utilise and apply reflective frameworks will provide a basis for critical analysis of key areas.
The review should include ?
Discussion of any significant event (critical incident)
Discussion about the strengths and weaknesses of the journey
An evaluation of the overall impact of the journey in relation to present and future professional practice
Identification of an Reflective framework and discussion of the rationale for the selection and use of the same
Examples of competencies in which a reflective framework is used
Discussion of the relationship with supervisor(s)

This Area of assessment will address learning outcomes 1, 2 & 5.

1. Critically debate and discuss how forms of knowledge influence practice.
2. Evaluate and make judgements in relation to reflective approaches in health and social care practice.
5. Critically formulate informed personal theories, that contributes to practice development.
