you will read the following portions of the textbooks and prepare a reading interaction paper.
(1) Fretheim’s book, pages ix-67
(2) Book by Matthews and Benjamin, pages xi-xv, 3-46, 59-64
(3) Jennings’ book, pp. ix-24
You will prepare an interaction paper of 2-4 pages in length (single-spaced). The paper will not summarize the content of the reading, but instead offer your interaction with the material. For example you might evaluate the author’s argument, the appropriateness of his use of scripture, or his theological conclusions; or you might provide personal insights gained from the reading; or you might express questions raised by the reading which require further consideration. Be sure to touch on each of the books read, but other than that you may structure the interaction paper any way you wish. The style can be informal reading interactions if you wish.
