Revolutionary Settlement
In no more than 6 pages you are to write a PROPER analytical paper using ONLY the provided information that has been attached. NO OTHER SOURCES ARE ALLOWED!!! When

format!!!). Do NOT generalize when writing this paper, give SPECIFIC examples (with SPECIFIC citations when applicable). You MUST use BOTH readings that have been
uploaded and ONLY those sources (the pictures are to help with identifying portions of material that are relevant to answering the question)!!!
Background information: By 1688, the Great Chain of Being had been shattered. In its place the “Revolutionary Settlement” was established. This Settlement created a
new paradigm of government in England and defined the role and power of both the monarchy and Parliament (basically the crown and the people).
With the above in mind, use the following format of the paper (do NOT include headings in the final papers):
A. A. Discuss the progress of the Revolutionary Settlement from 1688 to 1714. (This section should be no longer than 1.5 pages) This section includes the introduction.
The introduction MUST be intriguing and show that you are using your intellect when writing this paper.
B. B. Then argue, and explain in detail, what were the major obstacles to securing the Revolutionary Settlement? Do not look just at the obstacles that faced William,
but also the obstacles faced by Anne. (You must use specific cases here from the readings and ONLY from the readings. Also, remember to use proper citations when
referencing anything that is not your own original idea. This section should be no longer than 2 pages)
C. C. After looking at the major obstacles to securing the Revolutionary Settlement, USING SPECIFIC examples, argue that while the Great Chain of Being was medieval,
this Settlement put England on the path to modernity. (This section should be no longer than 2 pages)
D. D. Conclusion (No more than half a page). This is where you come up with a strong conclusion that will leave the reader of your paper impressed.
