Rhetorical Analysis

Rhetorical Analysis

The prompt:
Conduct a rhetorical analysis of David Zinczenko’s Don’t Blame the Eater.  Consider the issues of the topic, organization, audience, tone, bias, and the balance of

ethos, pathos, and logos.

A few tips:
1.    Please remember that the goal of rhetorical analysis is to evaluate a piece of writing and to discuss how good of a job the original writer did in

communicating his/her ideas.  Whether you agree with the original writer or not does not matter.
2.    Write for an audience of your peers: young people, just like you, but the ones who have not read the same article by Zinczenko.
3.    Writing is a process. Do a step or two in this process every day.  Do not postpone writing the whole paper until the day before it is due.
