rubric

rubric

There is no template for this assignment because you are free to create a rubric you feel will be appropriate for your use in evaluating your lesson plans. If you would like a model, feel free to look at the rubrics I have used in this course. Your rubric does not need to look like those rubrics, however. For example, while I prefer to use a four point rubric, you may find another number better meets your purposes, and you will certainly have different categories.

Here are a couple of guiding questions to help you get started on creating your rubric:

What elements are necessary to include in a successful collaborative lesson plan?

How would you describe the levels of quality for each of those elements?

Instead of using a rubric to assess your rubric, I am going to use these guiding questions:

Is the rubric functional?

Do the levels of quality make sense?

Does each description relate to its category?

Does the rubric assess all of the elements essential to a successful collaborative lesson plan?
