Laura is the risk manager at a Pharmacy Corp., a national chain of retail pharmacies. She is asked by the CEO to develop a Holistic Approach to the identification and mitigation for the corporation’s risks. She has to identify as many potential risks and the effects of these risks, and a plan for follow up for the ERM plan.
Students must take this assignment and brainstorm it – use internet for resources – look up pharmaceutical companies ERM plan, etc. to answer the questions below.
A. Which risk identifications will work better for this project? Explain your answer in detail with a good description of what risk identifications you choose and why.
B. A level ten risk, on a scale of one to ten with ten being the highest level of risk, could possibly be several types of risks for a pharmaceutical company. From the five you have already chosen now list them by level of risks and tell why you think so with regards to the analysis tools you have employed.
C. What would Laura’s risk treatment look like for all five risks identified?
D. Design a risk register(s) that Laura and her team could use for all five risk categories (can be more than one). Give an example of each one and why it was chosen.
E. State in two (or more) paragraphs how you will follow-up, monitor, or changes any new risks, etc.
