This assessment requires you to:
• Research the companies in the list below
• Select a company from the list
• Analyse the reasons for what happened to your chosen share, comparing your company with other relevant businesses and the business sector.

You need to research your company using the LRC databases, the company website and the stock exchange website to build a picture of the performance over the last 12 months.
In this assessment, you should include the following:
• An explanation of why you selected the company for analysis
• A table showing the share price one year ago, and how it has fluctuated each month over the past year.
• A comparison of the performance of your share with the FTSE index.
• A graphical representation of the share price over the time period being reviewed
• If you had invested £10000 in your company 12 months ago, how many shares would you have purchased and what would their value be today.
• An analysis of the share performance through the year with reference to the news and other events that you have researched
• An explanation of how you judged whether or not this was a good performance.
Submission
Your review should be a maximum of 2000 words in length and should be submitted via the RP1.4 link in the Referral folder on the Business Pod BREO site by midnight on Friday 15th August.You
must include your name, student id, Learning Community number and tutor names in the submitted document.
