You will put together a 400-600-word research proposal for a topic, important to or related to your field, you would like to investigate, research, and write about further. This proposal should state: What topic you are going to investigate; Why you are exploring this topic; and How you are planning to proceed with this investigation—especially and most importantly how you are going to use rhetoric as a frame for analyses.

You will be writing for and presenting to your fellow members of this class. These are REPORTS, so they do not necessarily have to follow an essay format. Instead, for example, of a thesis or claim, you will have a purpose driven by some question(s) you have. You should consider using bullet points, subheadings, etc. to make your reports easy to read—this will make them easier to transfer over to Major Paper THREE.
