Socrates and the Oracle

 
In at least one full page, explain the following: In the Apology, what did the Oracle at Delphi tell Socrates’ friend? When Socrates heard of this, what did he ask himself? What is Socrates’ response to the Oracle’s pronouncement? –What does he do? And what conclusion does Socrates come to about what it means to be “wise”?
And–in at least another full page–evaluate Socrates’ understanding of wisdom: do you agree or disagree with his understanding of the nature of wisdom? Why or why not? Provide reasons for your position.
