Spreadsheets
Spreadsheets include a lot of statistical analyses, but these are often rather difficult to use and understand. Have a look at the statistics available on a typical spreadsheet and see what functions they include. If you want to do some large-scale statistical analysis, it is better to use specialised programs such as Minitab, SAS, Splus, SPSS or STATISTICA. Do a small survey of statistical packages and see what extra features they have.
